El miércoles 27 de enero nuestro equipo, Xrams- 6200, tuvo la oportunidad de visitar la maquiladora AlignTechnology. En lo personal debo comentar que fue una visita bastante enriquecedora, ya que no todos los días se tiene la oportunidad de visitar una de las plantas maquiladoras de mejor tecnología en nuestra ciudad. Esta visita proporcionó un gran avance a nuestro robot, ya que con la ayuda de los ingenieros de esta planta, Lucy (nuestro robot) dio sus primeros pasos. Ellos nos ayudaron a resolver un problema de configuración, entre nuestra laptop y roboRIO, que no permitía que nuestro robot se moviera. Además,nos aportaron ideas para mejorar y optimizar el diseño de nuestro robot.

Desde que ingresamos a la planta maquiladora el personal de la empresa se portó muy amigable, todos estuvieron dispuestos a ayudarnos. Nuestra visita a AlignTechnology terminó con un recorrido por la planta y una comida en la cafetería, acompañados de los ingenieros de la empresa.

This Wednesday January 27th our team, Xrams-6200, had the great opportunity to visit the manufacturing company AlignTechnology. I must say that I found the visit to be an enriching experience; it is not everyday that you get the opportunity to visit one of the most technologically advanced manufacturing companies in our city. This visit helped us with our robot because with the help of the engineers of this plant Lucy, our robot, gave her first steps. They helped us solve a configuration problem between our computer and roboRIO that did not allow our robot to move. They also contributed ideas to improve and optimize the design of our robot.

Since the moment we entered the manufacturing plant their personnel was extremely friendly. Everyone was willing to help us. Our visit to AlignTechnology ended with a tour of the plant and a meal in the cafeteria, accompanied by the engineers of the company
