Durante el semestre de Ago-Dic de 2016, estuvimos llevando el taller de conexiones eléctricas con nuestro Mentor Fausto Aguilar, en este taller mis compañeros y yo estuvimos durante 10 semanas aprendiendo sobre la seguridad y recomendaciones al momento de manejar electricidad, empezamos con la bases de la electricidad, así como medidas para medirla y los diferentes tipos (AC, DC), después empezamos con la instalación de un foco, todos tuvimos que utilizar guantes y lentes de protección para evitar accidentes, después de lograr prender el foco la siguiente lección fue hacer una conexión como la de las escaleras con doble switch, después de eso hicimos una conexión para encender un motor, con reveladores y varios controladores. Yo a lo igual que mis compañeros disfrutamos la experiencia y el conocimiento del profesor, y ahora estamos listos para armar la parte eléctrica del robot para la competencia, esto también nos ayudará en el futuro por si llegamos a tener problemas en la casa o en el trabajo.

During the semester of August-December of 2016, we were having a course about electrical connections with our Mentor Fausto Aguilar, during 10 weeks in this course me and my classmates were learning about the security and recommendations for the good use of electricity, we started with the bases of electricity, like units of measurement and the different types (AC/DC), after that we started with a installation of a lightbulb, we had to used gloves and safety goggles at all time to evict accidents, after accomplished to light up the lightbulb we move on to made a connection like the one in the stairs of our homes, with two switches, after that we made a connection to make a motor move, with regulators and controllers. My partners and I enjoyed the class, and also the experience, the knowledge we acquired it gonna be useful for the rest of our lives, so if we get in trouble we know how to solved it, also we are ready to work on our robot for the competition and to ensemble our electrical part in the robot.
