Mi experiencia trabajando en el video / My experience working with the video

En la competencia, FIRST otorga diferentes premios a los equipos por diferentes actividades que se realizan, una de ellas es un video de seguridad, el cual fue una de las primeras tareas que empezamos a desarrollar. Este video trata sobre la importancia de la seguridad a la hora de trabajar con herramientas y resalta lo importante que es trabajar en un proyecto sin sufrir daños físicos. Desde antes que fuera el kickoff (09 de enero), nos reuniamos para hacer lluvia de ideas, escribir la historia de nuestro video y a diseñar el escenario en donde se iba a desarrollar.

Durante todo el trabajo que hicimos fuimos recibiendo ayuda y opiniones de nuestros compañeros de equipo e incluso llegamos a recibir ayuda externa. Al final fue un trabajo de equipo que nos dejó contentos y satisfechos, en especial a mi compañero Josue Montoya y a mi, que fuimos los que más tiempo le dedicamos y éramos los encargados de sacar adelante el video.

Mi experiencia con el video de seguridad fue muy buena, disfruté trabajar en equipo y trabajar hasta que nos saliera algo que nos gustó. Aprendí que haciendo las cosas con tiempo se trabaja mejor y se dan mejores ideas. Creo yo que le dedicamos bastante tiempo a esto y que el producto final le agrado a las demás personas.

On the competition, FIRST grants different prizes to the teams for different activities that take place, one of them is making a security video, which was one of the first tasks that we started working on. This video is about the importance of security when working with tools and it puts emphasis on working on a project without suffering physical damage. Even before the Kickoff (January 9), we got together to brainstorm, write the script of our video and design the background in which the story was going to take place.

During all the work we made we were receiving help and opinions from our teammates and we even got external help. In the end it was a job made in team that left us happy and satisfied, specially me and my teammate Josue Montoya, since we were the ones that spent most of our time on it and were in charge of getting the video done.

My experience with the security video was really good, i really enjoyed the teamwork and working until we ended up with something that we liked. I learned that when you do things with time you work better and get better ideas. I think that we dedicated a lot of time on this and that other people liked the final product.
