Que la distancia no detenga el aprendizaje / Don't let distance stop you from learning

Así es, el sábado 30 de enero tuvimos por fin, después de 3 semanas del kickoff, la oportunidad de tener nuestro seminario de labView con el ingeniero de aplicaciones Oscar Fonseca, quien ya ha participado en varias competencias de FIRST con el equipo panteras. Lo extraordinario de esta sesión, fue que el ingeniero se encuentra en el DF y fue gracias a la tecnología que nos pudimos contactar por medio de Google Hangouts.

El seminario duró hora y media y abarcó las funciones básicas para poder correr programas en Ni-Roborio, teníamos muchas preguntas acerca del funcionamiento del programa pero el ingeniero las contesto perfectamente. A pesar de que National Instruments en México no da soporte al Ni-Roborio el ingeniero fue muy amable en ofrecernos apoyo directo con su equipo panteras. Obtuvimos un muy buen aprendizaje de este seminario ya que al concluir pudimos hacer que el robot se moviera de manera autónoma con uno de los programas pre-cargados que el ingeniero nos enseñó a ejecutar.

Saturday January 30 we had at last, three weeks after the kickoff, the opportunity of having our own Labview seminar with the applications engineer Oscar Fonseca, who has competed in several FIRST competitions with the team panteras. The extraordinary thing about this is that the engineer is currently in Mexico city and it was thanks to technology that we could connect through Google Hangouts.

The seminar lasted an hour and a half and encompassed the basic functions to be able to run programs on Ni-Roborio, we had a lot of questions about the functioning of the program but the engineer answered them perfectly. Even though National Instruments in Mexico does not use Ni-roborio the engineer was really kind in offering us direct help from his team panteras. We obtained a lot of knowledge from this seminar so in the end we were able to make the robot move autonomously with one of the precharged programs that the engineer taught us to execute.
