Y…. se nos vino el tiempo encima :( / And... we are running out of time :(

Ya nos queda menos de un mes para construir y programar el robot y apenas tuvimos nuestro curso introductor de LabView. El día 30 de enero ya supimos por dónde empezar: los programadores empezaron el movimiento autónomo mientras que Josué, Nacho, Maryen, Lino y yo nos dimos un tiro con el diseño, juntamos un par de ideas, las plasmamos en papel y definimos las medidas que tendrá el robot en un dibujo, y tenemos pensado el lunes pasarlo a SolidWorks para poder obtener una mejor visión y empezar a ver qué materiales necesitamos, además de tener las dimensiones exactas para ver qué obstáculos podremos pasar y qué obstáculos no.

Estuvimos en la escuela desde las 9:00 AM hasta las 4:00 PM, pero estamos seguros de que valdrá la pena y ya aprendimos algo nuevo que nos ayudará mucho para este gran proyecto. La semana que entra trabajaremos día y noche para que se construya esta máquina lo antes posible y poder practicar. Mientras nosotros construimos el robot, habrá otro equipo trabajando en construir los obstáculos de la competencia para que cuando terminemos el robot empecemos a practicar. Esperemos que todo salga según lo planeado y logremos nuestro objetivo. Muchas gracias de parte de todo el equipo de Xrams-6200 de Ciudad Juárez al ingeniero Óscar Fonseca que nos enseñó las bases de este lenguaje de programación que es nuevo para nosotros. Ahora tenemos un punto de inicio y solo es cuestión de tiempo para alcanzar la meta.

We got less than a month left to build and program the robot, and we just had our introductory course to Labview. On the day January 3th we finally knew where to begin: the programmers started with the autonomous movement meanwhile Josue, Nacho, Mayren, Lino and me worked on the design, we brought together a few ideas, we captured them in paper and we defined the measurements that our robot will have in a drawing, and we have planned to convert it into solidworks by monday to be able to obtain a better vision and start determining which materials we will need, plus having the exact dimension to see what obstacles we will pass and which ones not.

We were at school since 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, but we are sure that it will be worth it and now we have learned something new that will help a lot in this great project. Next week we will work day and night to build this machine as soon as possible and be able to practice. Meanwhile we build the robot there will be another team building the obstacles of the competition so that when we finish the robot we can start practicing. We hope that everything goes according to plan and we accomplish our goal. A huge Thank you from all of our team Xrams-6200 to the engineer Oscar Fonseca who taught us the bases of this programming language that is new to us. Now we have a starting point and it's only matter of time to reach our goals.
