Planeando el éxito / Planning Success

Nuestro equipo está principalmente dividido en 2 secciones: ingeniería, que son los encargados de armar el robot, y negocios, que tienen que encontrar la manera de hacer este sueño una realidad.

Una de las mayores tareas que tuvo que realizar el segundo grupo fue escribir el plan de negocios, en el cual se debe detallar cómo vamos a recaudar fondos, reclutar miembros, y administrar nuestro dinero. Desde muy temprano en la competencia se empezó a escribir este plan, honestamente fue un gran reto para todos los involucrados, ya que no solo teniamos que estructurar a nuestro equipo, pero también expresar en palabras todo lo que somos, y todo lo que planeamos ser.

El dia 6 de febrero de 2016 nos reunimos tres miembros del equipo, incluyéndome, para revisar los últimos detalles del plan, llegamos a la escuela desde las 10 de la mañana y trabajamos arduamente para avanzar lo más que podíamos y dimos nuestro mayor esfuerzo para hacer el mejor trabajo posible, mientras que Gina trabajaba en diseñar la portada que se utilizara en el plan, Itzel trabajaba en el formato y yo trabajaba en escribir el FODA. Todas nos alegramos inmensamente al ver como todo el trabajo que llevamos meses haciendo empezaba a tomar forma.

Personalmente el participar en FIRST me ha enseñado una gran de variedad de cosas, como programar y lo que es trabajar en equipo, pero lo más importante que he aprendido es que puedes realizar cualquier cosa que te propongas si trabajas arduamente y das siempre lo mejor de ti.

Our team is mainly divided in two sections: engineering, which is in charge of building the robot, and Business, that have to find the way to make this dream become a reality.

One of the biggest jobs that the second group had to do was to write the business plan, in which we had to explain how we are going to raise funds, recruit new members, and administrate our money. Since really early in the competition we started doing this plan, honestly it was a challenge for everyone involved, since we did not only had to organize our team, but we also had to express in words everything that we are and everything that we are planning to become.

On February 6 2016 three members of our team, including myself, got together to check the last details of the plan, we arrived to school since 10 am and we worked really hard to advance as much as we could and we gave our best efforts to make the best possible job, while Gina worked in designing the cover, Itzel worked on giving the plan a format, and i worked on writing the SWOT. We all got extremely happy to see how all the work that we had been doing for months was finally taking form.

Personally participating in FIRST has taught me a great variety of things, such as programming or what it truly is to work as a team, but the most important thing that i have learned is that you can achieve anything that you set your mind to if you work hard enough and give the best you have.
