¡Estamos en el Radio!/ We are in the radio!

"Si quieres llegar rápido, camina solo. Si quieres llegar más lejos camina con tu equipo."

Esta oportunidad fue única, nos ayudó a convivir más como equipo y dejar la tensión atrás para tener un poco de “diversión” en una entrevista en la radio. Fue un honor recibir la invitación del Profesor Irigoyen para asistir a la estación de radio que junto con sus alumnos de universidad inspiran a personas alrededor de toda la república y aún más: del mundo. El 21 de septiembre del 2016 salimos al aire a las 3:30 de la tarde en la estación Grupo BM Radio. XEJUA 640 AM situada en el segundo piso de la Plaza Galerías Tec en Cd. Juárez. Al principio me sentía nerviosa ya que nunca había salido en vivo en la radio, fue bueno hacer algo por primera vez. Cuando escuche al locutor decir... "Salimos al aire en 3...2...1..." sentía la adrenalina de que ya comenzábamos. Iniciamos presentándonos: "Nosotros somos X-Rams, el equipo de robótica de la Prepa del TEC de MTY Campus Cd. Juárez." (dijimos con orgullo). Las alumnos universitarios del Profesor Irigoyen nos hicieron una entrevista, incluyeron preguntas como: ¿Qué es la competencia FIRST?, ¿Cómo consiguen patrocinios?, ¿De dónde viene el dinero para el viaje y el robot?, ¿Cuál su motivación como equipo?, ¿Qué software de programación utilizan?, entre otras. Como un buen equipo mantuvimos una comunicación efectiva y nos coordinados para contestar las preguntas y dejar el nombre de XRams en alto.

This opportunity was unique, helped us coexist more as a team and leave the tension behind to have some "fun" in an interview on the radio. It was an honor to receive Professor Irigoyen's invitation to attend the radio station, which together with its university students inspire people around the whole republic and even more: the world. On September 21, 2016 we went on air at 3:30 pm at the station Grupo BM Radio. XEJUA 640 AM located on the second floor of Plaza Galerías Tec in Cd. Juárez. At first I was nervous because I had never gone live on the radio, it was good to do something for the first time. When I heard the announcer say ... "We are going to be on air in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ..." I could felt the adrenaline that we were already starting. We started by introducing ourselves: "We are X-Rams, the robotics team of Prepa Tec de Monterrey Campus Cd. Juárez." (We said with pride) The university students of Professor Irigoyen interviewed us, including questions such as: What is the FIRST competition?, How do they get sponsorship ?, Where does the money for the trip and the robot come from ?, What is their motivation as a team? What programming software do you use?, among others. As a good team we maintained an effective and coordinated communication to answer the questions and leave the XRams name high.
